That's ceased in 1979, not sure if it's a trademark anymore?

I think it might be

I remember reading something that like US airway's is going to come out with planes with all their old names/livery's

Under USAir, which again rebranded itself as US Airways after a series of notable aircraft accidents[citation needed], the Allegheny name continued to be used by the US Airways parent company, keeping the trademark under US Airways' control. That Allegheny division was headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and primarily flew De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprop aircraft serving 35 destinations in the northeastern United States, and eventually Canada, from hubs at Boston and Philadelphia. Its activities and Dash 8 fleet were incorporated into Piedmont Airlines in 2004 to consolidate operations and costs.

it still is

Im not sure who owns the Pan Am name now or Pan American or Panagra for that matter. I think Pan Am is owned by a railroad. Pan American and Panagra might be ok

Sami mentioned something about airlines that went under more than 20 years ago being ok. Something to do with copywrite law.

Honestly Sami I do not understand the big deal with using names of real airlines in a "game"?  These airlines in the game are not real!  More importantly they are not trying to profit from the name and are in no way competing with the actual airlines.  Based on my knowledge of US law and experience as someone who that has filed a law suit against someone for trademark infringement, I see no basis for legal concern at all.  Just look around at the thousands of virtual airlines that use the exact name and even variations of actual logos.  I personally have not ever heard of one case of an airline try to sue anyone for using their name.
