CI dropping for no apparent reason...

For the 1st time in AWS, I cant find why my CI is dropping for apparent reason.  Its dropping at about 0.1% per week.
My cancellations (1.7) and delays (87.2) are in check, fleet age 6.9yrs.  My only doubt is staff morale.

Reading the manual, staff morale can be a factor so I think it could be due that which is sitting at 67 (which is still in the 'green numbers') .  I had it go down a bit but it never went in the yellow or red levels.  I ve given all the necessary increases now so the morale is going up slightly but not my CI.

So my rationale is that to maintain a 100 CI at a certain morale level, for example 70.  I ve never had that problem before in AWS except when there is a strike warning which hasnt happened in this game.  So is my staff morale at 67 is making my CI drop from 100?

May be the reason!

If you expanded and your income increased, the ratio of marketing vs. income decreased. Marketing doesn't determine where you do it or what you do, it mostly checks how much you spend on it in relation to income, so if income increases: remember to rise marketing effort as well!

The thing is that everything has been status quo for a while with only minimal expansion, if any at all.  Now I pumped more money into the marketing machine and CI has been going back up.

So I assume now that my ratio was at its limit and simply because the demand increased naturally (and income consequently) that my ratio went below what was needed to maintain a 100 CI.  hmmm interesting 8)     learn something everyday, thanks Jona  :)

thanks for the flowers ;)

I usually maintain a CI of 90, because the jump to get the 100 is so much more expensive, that I only see prestigious reasons behind it. That in mind, I only do it in the last years of a game, when money is good anyways and I have nothing more to spend it on....
