B Checks last too long?

I noticed the drop in income for my planes in the last week of the month was more than I expected for one day of lost income, so I watched a plane during the B check.  My B check is scheduled Monday 11:20 to Tuesday 11:20, to coincide with gaps in the flight schedule.

Monday the plane showed "in maintenance" as expected.  This continued through the day Tuesday. By midday Wednesday I was getting concerned, as it was still showing in maintenance.  This continued through the day and the plane finally cleared maintenance Thursday morning.

Why is the plane out of service for two and a half days if the B check only lasts 24 hours? This is not a rant.  I'm new here and I'm trying to understand how things work.

If B check ends in mid-day Tuesday, the next flight will fly on Tuesday evening. Hence you will see it's results next day, in Wednesday. However if the flight spans over the whole day it will take till Thursday.

Easy answer: The pages update daily at 00:00, routes after 11:20 are flown, just the aircraft view page doesn't update live, but in 24hr turns.
