Hi Hassel,

Once a plane reaches 15 years old, you will have the option to scrap the plane and receive about 20% of the value in return. Until then, the best thing you can do is put the plane up for sale on the used market at minimum allowed value (about 30% below book value) and hope that it is purchased either by another player or by a computer used aircraft broker. In the feature request forum, there is some discussion going on about a "retire aircraft" option, as well. If you have any ideas for a feature like that, head over to the feature request forum and chime in on the subject!

I do not know if this joke qualifies non-offensive but I'll give it a shot:

you can always sell it to Al Qaeda but expect LF to drop if you are flying to USA. If you lease the plane then do a dry lease and don't send any crew :)

Somebody made a joke depicting one of the players (of German origin) here as Adolf Hitler and everybody found it funny so I thought that any kind of humor worked here. Deleting my original message if this is the case.

Change the registration, paint it in the livery of someone who just went bankrupt and park it in a major airport. They'll take care of it.
