i have several planes in my fleet but unable to get them in the air. When i go to assign an aircraft to a new route, i only have the option of adding an aircraft that has not been delivered yet. The a/c that i want to use has the capability to fly the new route but does not give me the option to use it. In the mean time, i am going bankrupt as i am losing money on grounded aircraft.

I assume you're talking about the route creation page, where there's a dropdown menu to pick the sort of plane you're creating the route for. If a plane doesn't appear on that dropdown list, it's either because the plane doesn't have the range to fly the route even if it's empty, or because the plane is too big for one of the airports (i.e. an a300 is classed as very large, and so can't fly into any airport that is restricted to large aircraft).

What's the route you're trying to create, and which plane are you trying to create it for?

The problem is that your aircraft (B707-320) is too large for MDW. Chicago Midway is a large class aircraft only with a max runway of 6500 feet, while the B707 is a Very large class with runway requiremnet of 8900 feet. Sorry but will need to start over with either smaller aircraft B737, 727, MD-80's, Fokkers 27, BAC 1-11, somoething along those lines, or change to diff airport.

Actually you can still use aircraft over the runway limit (I've been based at MDW before), but you can't fly the aircraft full.  For example, Gateway Airlines has a 763 flying to Midway with a minimum 2460m runway requirement.  Midway's longest is 1988m.  You can still fly the 763, but just not with a full load (you'll want to reconfig the seats).  The 707 has a minimum 2730m runway requirement, which is why you probably can't schedule it.

Range and tech stops make a difference too. It changes the fuel weight, thus reducing the takeoff weight and distance required.
