...please can someone tell me or school me on the "Revenue, ¢ / ASK" and "Yield, ¢ / RPK" please. Mine averages in the yellows with good pax whilst I hae a new route with low pax in the green. What do I do?

ASK stands for Available Seat Kilometer
RPD - not sure what R stand for but it is probably something having to do with utilized (having passengers) per kilometer.

Generally, shorter routes will have much higher figures (more likely to be green) than longer range routes.  Airlines makes certain amount just for taking off + something per mile of flying.  So further you fly, less significant the amount for taking off will become, and figures tend to deteriorate for longer routes.

Your new route with low pax is probably a shorter route.

RPK is Revenue Passenger Kilometer (I think).

It measures how much money each passenger pays per EDIT kilometer.


I suck at metric units.
