Seriously?

Can we please have some small aircraft/airline economics, we've been asking for it for a long LONG time... myself for over a year.

Not everyone wants to manage large fleet airlines...

The check cost is not the same if you compare aircraft of same age and condition. Since DHC-8 is in larger size class and is also generally larger plane.

My point was a C Check on a C208 should cost about 25% of what it costs on a Dash-8, not to mention it should be single pilot for a/c types like that, and landing fees should be almost non-existent.

Actually the C208 takes 7 days for a C-check and a Dash-8 takes 10 days.  The C208 should cost 70% of the Dash-8, and it looks like the costs are where they should be.

Problem with that is that maintenance done on a C208 is done by 1-3 guys, a Dash-8 15-20 guys and planes like B737 usually around 25-35 (sometimes even up to 45-50) guys. So I think the time line is right but cost should be lower, haven't looked around in AWS but hopefully they are not the same. Biggest problem probably is though that in RL maint.program on a C208 for example differs quite a lot from that on a traditional airliner.

Just for the record though a D-check on an A320 can be done in as little as 25 days or so. That leads me to another requested feature, different levels of C/D-checks e.g. C1, C2, C3 and so on... This would really encourage keeping a rather modern fleet rather then bumping around with 20 year old guzzlers. Might be something for v3.0 on closer thought, but it would be nice!
