Uploading .PNG images to AWS

Is there any reason why JPEG is the only format accepted on AWS when uploading airline liveries and logo's to AWS, I'm just curious as a number of aviation designer forums recommend .PNG as the image quality is better in this format.

Thanks for the quick reply SAMI, hopefully by the time the next release starts I'll be much a much more capable livery designer

Plus it means we can use transparencies in our airline logos. Hooray!
