Hi,

I have to make some massive changes in fleet configuration to optimize downtime.. and if the change changes significantly my time slots at certain airports, does this impact my CI or market share? Does AWS recognize that I have dominant position at my base airport and will not recognize changes as a new route? I recognize the I will have to pay slotting fees again.. thanks

Significant changes in your flights should not affect your CI.

As far as managing the slots, there are some tricks to it as far as not paying over and over for the same slots that you will figure out over time.  The simplest one is to delete the routes without freeing up the slots.  You continue to own the slots for 2 months game time, and if you later schedule a different flight at the same time, you will not be paying the slot fees again.

Another trick, for example, when changing from 12345-7 to 123456-, you automatically lose the Sunday slot and pay for Satuday.  If you delete the route and recreate it, you will still pay for the Saturday slot, but you will not lose the Sunday slot...

CI is not affected.
RI is not affected.
Market share may be affected in either way, depending if your new flight times are more or less desirable by the pax.
