Why isn't this making more money?

Hi, I currently have three route. All starting out of Chicago-Midway.
The route which is making the least money is Chicago-Atlanta. It had the highest demand and the best time too(Not sure if that makes a difference)
I'm operating a 737-200adv on this route.
I'm wondering why this route isn't making me more money.
Thanks,

Do you have competition? What ticket price do you have? What is your LF and route image? How many times/day do you fly the route?

The 737-200 is best suited for short routes with over 150 demand with no competition. The shorter the route, the more routes it can fly each day, thus giving you more money. Also, if one route has more demand than your aircraft has seats (demand 300 compared to say 150 seats), you should fly more than once that route each day to optimize your route image and staff. And because of this, you should first fly routes with as much demand as possible, while having no competition and being as short as possible.
