I am very new to Airway Sim and i am learning as i go, but....

I want to fly from the UK to the USA, but the aircraft i have bought cannot fly there. It has the range to complete the flight but the games says something about passenger loads.

What are the best aircraft to buy/lease to fly to the USA?

I have bought IL-86's with great range but not to the destination i want to fly....

Can anyone shed some light for me?

Thanks

I am not really sure where you would be encountering a problem except with seating configuration without being able to see the pax load limitations under the open route page. If you actual plane with the seats config set that you are planning to use shows the distance as being more than what you need for your flight, you should be all set.

Read any notifications when opening a route. Plane 9X9-100 may not have the range to make the flight with a full load but plane 9X9-100ER may. Plane 9X9-200 may be able to make the trip but only with standard seating for economy and not with high-density. The message should break down any possible restrictions on pax load specific to each individual model type to let you know what the problem is. You might be fine with your specific plane in its current seating config but when opening a route the game doesn't look at your specific plane, but instead the fleet group, and issues notifications about restrictions for all possible planes under the designated Aircraft Type. Getting a notification when opening a route can just be ignored if you are sure your plane can fly the route. Just confirm the route and schedule it.

You should also make sure you have the correct plane type selected in the drop down on the open route page because a another plane in your fleet that you are used to selecting when opening a route may have been chosen out of habit.

Also check that both departure and arrival airports have long enough runways for your aircraft. If not, you'll have to cut either passenger load for range, or fuel quantity for passengers.
