Beginners World starting year

Is there any specific reason that the Beginners Worlds starts in 1992? If it started in 2002 instead, I think it would appeal more to newer players as it would be possible to fly more of the planes that you see in airports around the world today. Just a thought for you, sami.

Not necessarily. I can't be the only one who finds it more interesting to use historical aircraft such as in Jet Age. 1992 seems like a good compromise.

Partly due to the low fuel prices of that era that makes it easier. But the next could be bumped a few years ahead.

If there will be a beginner game starting 2002 with low fuel prices like 1992, how much credits I must buy to be allowed to play there, sami?

it looks like that sami likes to start a world after a period of high fuel price finally end......this happened on the first 2 Jet age(1974), ATB2(1992 I think? I remember I moved to new VHHH after a few year), The Jet Age(1972),  TMT(1992) and TMT2(1986)
