I saw this and thought I'd post it in case anyone is interested.  An intriguing move from Air France as well, maybe filling schedule gaps, or perhaps seeing how viable the aircraft is on short-haul ops?

:o £80 return with taxes?!? I live in Canada and I'd actually fly to Paris JUST for that price! ;D

If AirwaySim has taught me anything, it's that AF is going to lose all their customers on that route to some startup airline at -5 CI flying 20 year old Fokkers 5 times a day.

no they won't as in real life, people don't usually tend to want the smaller, crappy planes, but tend to like bigger and newer planes. ;)

How are they going to fill up those first class suites? haha  :D

Tongue in cheek really doesn't work over the internet.  :(

The "pax like smaller planes" is utter bull***t, even sami confirmed that...

They don't like smaller planes, they just prefer frequencies. They won't pick 10 ERJ's a day over 10 737-800's a day just because the ERJ is smaller.

Mexicana did the same thing here in Mexico when their A330's arrived. Though I don't get why AF is doing it if they're already flying CDG-JFK in A380.

Anyway, returning to the original post - I thought people might have been genuinely interested but like all threads on here, after a few posts, it has deteriorated somewhat  :(

Thank you to those with the positive input :)
