Why won't my plane fly a route?

I have scheduled a route between EDDM-GCTC and back, and i can't get the plane to fly the route. It has gone about 2 weeks and it won't still fly the route.

Is it a bug..?

Did you schedule it properly?
Did you schedule the maintenance properly?

I'ts a brand new MD-90. Yes, i have scheduled both the repair and the route properly. The same plane fly another route and that route works well.

I've now found that a route between EDDM-DTTA wont fly either.

Check if your flights are being cancelled for some reason. If not maybe try closing the route and remaking it, the planes should fly with no problem. I have never had an issue like that so I'm curious if there is actually a bug or if there is a problem with the plane on those routes.

Did you schedule it for all 7 days?

Sami

If you have properly scheduled a route but it is flown for example only once a game week you will naturally have to wait until that day passes. And with 'bad luck' a B check may override that ight so it may take 2+ weeks before you see the first flight being flown.

(Not a bug. This is a fairly common question, some more threads can be found with forum search)

Found the solution.. i clicked on edit route, did no change and then clicked on "Save". Tada, it worked.

Bug.

I have played countless games and have never had this "problem".

I am fearing user error on this one.

I'm quite sure in my playing too. Since i have nothing else to do now i can say everything.

* The plane is a new MD-90
* I scheduled it before the plane arrived
* The plane HAD arrived.
* The route was scheduled to fly everyday
* The aircraft flown another route on the same planes schedule.

Here's one thing thought; when i went into to change route, there was a message saying "Slots are full". When i looked at the slots-list, slots were available. I don't know if the list or the message was wrong, but when i again clicked at "Save", that sign had disappeared and the plane started flying that route.

I also rescheduled this route by remove it and insert it again. Dunno if that had nothing to do with the thing. Feel free to find any explanation to the story above. Either way, it's fixed so this ain't nothing bothering me.

It might have been that the slots expired on that route, if that particular flight wasn't flown for a while. Editing and saving the route will get those slots back which you did and the plane can fly again.
