How are personel # calculated ?

Hello,

Today i made a quite interesting discovery. When i fly leg routs that are for example ZRH - LAX - RKSI - LAX - ZRH, i noticed that the crew additions are as much as they are for just flying LAX - ZRH? Did i just make a mistake in calculation or does it take the same amount of crew? I am asking this, because if this is indeed true i can fly 4 long range flights for the cost of only 2 in terms of personnel.

It should count each leg of the route separately for that, if I remember correctly.
