I read manual and it says airport slot fee is a one time fee and should be shown at navigation fee section. The fact is I always see red numbers there in the navigation fee, despite of have not acquired the new airport slot for many weeks. So what other component in that navigation fees? I don't really care about one time fee stuff. What I need to know is the hiding fee that always eats up my income, and it always happen again and again.

Other things would be marketing, which didn't help me at all. My company image is plunged into -20. I have put some money on general marketing and route marketing. I paid my staff well, and no lack of staff. Is that because I use an old airplanes? So tell me what the marketing is all about?

You pay navigation and landinf fees everytime you land on an airport. You have a "privilege" on those slots, meaning that you pay onl when you exploit them but you will lose the right to pay for them (and therefore to land on an apo) if you do not use them for 3 months

Essentially, the more money you plow into marketing, the more your CI improves. Things like delays can damage your CI, as well as a poor financial state and aircraft in poor condition.

I recently had to drop my entire marketing campaign for a bit to rescue my airline from sudden implosion, I'm still adding marketing campaigns to keep my CI from dropping further, but as noted in the thread I provided, it's harder expee to attain a higher CI than it is to keep it if it is raised from the start. I have never tried it, so can't vouch for it, but a massive marketing campaign is necessary.
