I havent been here in a while and was hoping that another fellow player could tell me if it is possible for a player to lease planes to other players for 1 dollar?

no.

There is a minimum price at which aircrafts can be sold/leased based on their true value.

This is to avoid big airlines aiding smaller ones by lending/selling them fleets of aircrafts at Easyjet prices - in a few words, to make the game fairer.
