Scheduling at odd times

I noticed when I schedule a departure at odd times like 7:05 AM to 7:25AM, the price of the slots are cheaper compared to the :00 and :30 time slots during peak hours but yet in many cases, they have the same number of available slots. I am thinking is this because people prefer departure times that are easier to remember like :00s and :30s?

I think it's due to availability.  Most players use 00 or 30 for the times and therefore the slots run out quicker.  An airport with 40 slots will sell the first slot really cheap, the second slot for more, etc and the very last slot would be most expensive.  I'm not sure if this is how it works or not, but it would be how it would work in the real world.

I once payed 750.000 for a slot at EGLL. I whished I could sell it for a million  ;D
