Sorry for absence and departure from games

A lot of real life crap came up over the past month.

My wife's father almost died.  Had surgery of my own.  My wife almost lost her job and was finishing school (again)...

Anyways, I quit all the games I was in because I felt it unfair to my alliance mates to stay in without me doing the necessary work.  (I had 1020 messages in one game alone).

I hope to see you all soon in a future game.

Hi John!

All the best for your family and you! Please never worry about apologizing for being absent in cases like these! There are still a few things way more important than our airlines!

Hope to have you back soon in your old great shape!

I figured something was up but am very sorry to hear about how hectic your life has been recently. Glad your back and looking forward to competing/cooperating/coexisting with you in future game. :)

Thanks guys.... and I heard they re-admitted him to the hospital today.  SUPER!

Anyways, I started a new airline in Dawn.   It is based at a small airport.  I am trying to see if an all Fairchild fleet can be viable.

Likewise,

All the best to your family and keep up those studies!

Ar you planning to open your own airline?

Cheers,

Nick

All the best mate!

Life is hard so we're trying to get some fun from here.

swiftus/John-join the club mate. I nearly got suspended for "skipping 3 periods", when it was my dad who forgot to call me in sick! I went to three suspension meetings (not suspended yet at this point) and told my dad about it (I had no idea he had forgotten to call me in, and they wouldn't believe me when I said I was sick that day, even when I told to confirm with my dad ::) ) and it didn't click with him; he just punished me for skipping and bla bla bla. Then, my mom's car is overheating every two minutes and I needed her to give me a ride to a friend's house to work on a HUUGE project due the next day, in which made up 45% of my mark, and my dad was in Montreal. I told the teacher and she pulled out the BS stick, so I called my mom on the spot, she confirmed it was her fault, and I got a 1-day extension! I got a 65 on that project because of the late (a-hole teacher just in case you were wondering) and to top it off; I got "Herpes-simplex form 1" (the least-harmful form) so I had to take a week off of school. My last EQAO is....no WAS last week, and there aren't any redos, so 0 for me on that (but thank god it doesn't count as a mark on the report card). And exams are this week, and all the study time and tips and whatnot....were last week: the one I missed, so a 50-70% on that. that will bring my average down by AT LEAST 15%! wow. my life is screwed, royally screwed. See? you're part of the unfortunate events club.

Cheers (and good luck),
