Routes: traveling to the same airport twice a day?

Hi,

First, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask or if the question was already asked (I tried searching without success). These are my first days in the game. :)

I'd like to understand if it is possible to order a plane to go to the same airport at least twice a day. I mean, let's say my plane leaves from JFK and I want it to go to Chicago, then return to JFK, then return to Chicago and then to JFK again in the same day, because I have enough time. Is that possible? I've tried but couldn't.

Thanks in advance!

PS: I'm still a Demo, but planning to participate in the full game very soon...

Sure you can.  You just can't do it all at once under a single screen.  You can go JFK-ORD, or perhaps JFK-IAD-ORD (and reverse).  But you can't go JFK-ORD-JFK-ORD on a single routing.

Just create a route from JFK to ORD.  Make a note of when it arrives back in JFK and add whatever the turnaround time is so you know when to start the next flight.  Then create another flight that starts at that time.  Repeat until the plane's schedule for the day is full.

To make it even easier, you can "Copy" a route.  Once a route has been created and the screen comes up that says you need to Schedule it to be flown, on the right-hand side of the Route Summary, there are a series of Icons.  There's an "X" to cancel it and a "+" that Copies it.  That brings up the same Open Route screen and all you gotta do is change the Start time of the route and you're good to go.
