Purchasing new aircraft - any way to choose what production slot?

Hello, I was just wondering if there was a way to choose the production slot for purchased aircraft instead of it choosing one for you - thank you.

A while back somebody posted a method which, if my memory serves me correctly is something (rather tedious) like getting a quote on more aircraft than you need, then before confirming the order, you go back and select "skip / do not order this".  (Shown Below)

Remember to generate a new cost calculation before proceeding.  Also, when doing this, be sure you are awake and re-read everything before you commit money, just in case.



This seems to be the only way to get some control over the production slot but bear in mind that even so, these dates can slide.
