A/C on order, change configuration, lease increase

I have a bunch of A321-200s on order in ATB2. I initially ordered them with the standard configuration. Waiting for the aircraft to be delivered I decided I'd like to have them with some C seats so I made a new configuration and applied that to the aircraft on order. Now I get a price quote: there is a "price to be paid now" for every aircraft which I understand, but why is the monthly lease slightly increased after the upgrade? If I waited the aircraft to be delivered and then reconfigured, it would not affect the lease price.

Missed this ... But it's basically re-calculating a new price for the lease every time you change the specs, and price is calculated based on the new specs what you choose (thus it may lose some discounts what you have gotten, recalculating all those is kinda complicated - but that's not the issue here).

For now the calculation is always the same no matter which aspect is changed (engines or just config) but I'd agree that if changing config only the lease price could perhaps stay the same.
