Old news, Ryan is just trying to fetch another bit of free PR ... That seat design was actually talked originally already a few years ago when it was "suggested" by either Airbus or Boeing (can't remember who actually..).

I am rather concerned with safety. I wonder how they will make this idea work technically, if you compare it to seat safety requirements... Personally, I already find standing in trains pretty awkward - one hour travel from Frankfurt to Cologne e.g. can be a hurting experience.

I was just kidding about this in AWS. But if SkyEurope try this (well, they probably go to bankrupt, but maybe...), I definetly try that too But just on some domestic service (maybe BTS-KSC).
