We've recently added a big list of new features to AirwaySim, and here are the highlights: Major feature: Start with ready-made airlines. Players can get started more easily with this new feature. Upon selecting the desired continent and type of airline operation, the system will present the player with a choice of potential airports to start his airline. Each choice will also include start-up aircraft readily selected. These planes will suit the airport and chosen operation. When the airport and aircraft are selected and the airline name is entered the system will create the airline. In this start-up method the system will automatically lease the first aircraft and will also create full routes and schedules. All the necessary basic setup steps for the new airline are created automatically (including staffing, marketing, maintenance checks) and the new player can understand the simulation more easily this way. This easy start up method is available in all game worlds and for all players as an option together with the old airline creation process (now called "advanced start"). The easy start method does not bring any financial or other advantages compared to the normal ("advanced") startup. Aircraft leasing updates Players may set a minimum required technical condition for the airplanes they lease out to other players. This is done from the aircraft selling window. If the condition falls below the set level the aircraft is grounded until repairs are made by the operator. Short-term lease extensions are now calculated in a different way, making them more affordable. Leased aircraft may be now sent to the long-term storage ("desert parking"). Leases may be cancelled with negative cash (up to a certain point), to help players in financial trouble to restructure without bankruptcy. Data updates 16 new airports have been added to Kazakhstan. There are many other smaller changes and fixes too. All of the updates and changes are always announced at our forums at the AirwaySim Changelog thread.
