Hi Sami, seems like you cannot create new airlines. I was doing bad so declared bankruptcy and wanted to restart in Modern Times. However it keeps loading the page where I'm supposed to create my new airline. Probably due to the new site, but appreciate if you'd have a look so I can create my airline again.

I am able to load the Create Airline page normally, at least currently. (the one with the Easy Start or Advanced Start buttons .. was your problem later on in the airline creation page?)

Sorry, maybe I am old fashioned but I prefer the previous version. More intuitive and quicker. You had all info at a click's distance. Now, you have to click at least twice, with drop-down menus, etc.

I cant find the aircraft fleet page on the new format. Also I find the new forget confusing and it begs the question.if it aint broken ,why fix it ?

Aircraft fleet page? Inside the game the pages are in the same locations, or did you mean some other page?

I suggest to read some of the news and previews I have posted over the course of last year to understand why this upgrade is happening.


And also generally to everyone who might comment about not liking the new revision: I am wondering - why didn't you test the new website before the launch, and give the feedback already then? There was a long open testing period available with chances to comment it, with a chance to play this new AWS revision without any cost(!). I understand that we all have been using the old (ancient) AWS site for long and grown used to it, and I am expecting negative comments, like happens on every major change made on every system. But this is not something that was brought out of the blue. But, this is not the final version and work goes on.

Anyway, I have gotten a lot of feedback and a lot of improvements have been made already during the course of today, and the development work continues as planned. But I will be a bit less available over the weekend due to other commitments.

Seems to be a bug in that I got hit for fines for a ramp check/no maintenance on a plane that had schedule only for routes with no slots. 

The fine may have been corrected, but my reputation hit is still present.

edit2: and also seems to work for one other user. If it doesn't work for you please post me some more details (your device and browser for example).

Its in the same place as before, nothing has changed in the game page locations. Note that the URLs for pages have all changed so any old bookmarks won't be valid.

There have been no changes in the daily calculations with the new website but please post me some details (https://feedback.airwaysim.com/) so I can look into this, since there have been a few problems with this in the past. And if it was a wrongful fine I can restore the CI.

Yes absolutley, Click twice or scrolling down sucks every change you have made. And at all i think it feel the game performance loading times and quick change from drop-down menus feel slower. Hope that will be improved shortly next time. Also the go back button dont work well. You allways have to set filters again and again for example if you check Maintainces of a spezial fleettype....

There are a few issues with the back button on (old) pages with sub-tabs (i.e. Dashboard) still, but if you have other problems, just post me some details to the bug tracker and I can take a look later on.

It will take some getting used to but in general I am happy that the site looks a bit more modern now.
Hopefully some changes will still be made, workflows are a bit different now and some things are not as smooth as they used to be.

I'll try to post some things to the feedback site!

There are always negative comments with major site upgrades and it just takes time to get used to things.  For what it's worth, I played in the test games and HATED the new site. It just seemed clunky and dis-intuitive in many ways.  I promised myself I would quit when it went live.  But what's actually been presented, while not perfect, is better than I expected.  It runs a LOT faster than the old site for me, too. 

I was a bit annoyed because, other than logging actual bugs, I didn't get chance to offer any feedback. I'd prepared a whole list of comments and observations as Sami said there would be a survey distributed via email at the end of testing, but that never happened. Then again, CBD was "imminent" 4 years ago and that didn't happen either.

Anyway, it works and life goes on. Although it's now even WORSE than before to play on a phone, which seems a bit backward in 2024!

I was shocked how bad it is. I almost quit but decided to play to the end of the current server im still on. After that, no thanks. Older was way better.

Also not a fan of the new site.  Used to be able to see all the filters / drop downs for used a/c on one webpage, now I have to scroll to tick common fleet etc.

There is a drop down if you click the 3 vertical dots at the top of the screen. Would be nice to have it be just on the main page again still. Or at least a sliding menu that shift on and off page from the side when needed.

Appreciate all the hard work that goes into this site. It really is a great game. But the new layout is taking some getting used to and doesn't appear to be very user friendly or visually friendly in comparison to the previous version.
 - I use a laptop and sometimes even my mobile if i'm out and about. It's much more difficult to navigate on both and the top bars seem to take more space than the previous version, meaning less visibility on the screen of game stuff. I have to zoom out to 75% on some pages just to make the page viewable. The graphics and fonts seem too big.
 - Not a fan of having information condensed into places where previously it was shown on the main screen in one visible place.
 - When creating schedules you can't just click the demand section and get a pop up, I have to right click and open in new window. Can we adopt a policy of "As few clicks as possible" for navigation around the website.
