My 2 cents for V1.3 Ideas

I'm only going to suggest two things for 1.3 if possible to have added in.

1) Thru flights: On a map it may look like an airline plans Point to Point but in reality thru flights are critical to the schedule espeacially when opening a new base or have multiple hubs. For less aircraft you can do more flights. My prime example is YYZ-YYC-YVR with the same plane and back again. Instead of having the YYZ-YYC broken up and then YYC-YVR done when YYC is opened as a base. How I see it is that if you take the cost to open a base then you should be able to thru flight through that base. I know that when thru flights were initially out that people nearby with bigger hubs would launch heavy birds on the short route to compete internationally out of the nearby base. Now with bases that drops because now they can just open up in your home town anyways. So why not open the option between hub and base thru flights allowed, on condition that the aircraft does count towards the 70 plane limit at the base? It would reduce fleet needs therefore saving costs, increase aircraft on the market and far easier scheduling and more aircraft productivity and inflight time.

2) Staff Costs for new Base: Opening a new base should cost alot more for initial, and not some constant spike in Staff costs. That is a long term penalty that doesn't truely exist either. Opening a base is an initial fortune but long term savings. Now the game does not have those long term savings in mind yet, but to permanently and drastically increase staffing costs for a new base isn't right. I think that a marginal increase is valid but the initial upstart cost go up, way up. IF for example you open your first base, you get docked the initial cost of the opening say 25million for a decently large airline, then you get the fleet commonality charge and rent, fair enough. However the staffing could rise almost 5-10million a month and thats permanent. Over time its not worth it. It should be like at the hub based on number of aircraft used. Just my thoughts, but when you see the "hockey stick" graph just cause you opened a base thats an unfair docking of money in my opinion. The initial cost should be higher and once its set be proportional to aircraft based there, not a predetermined "penalty". I've seen many 50-100 aircraft players here get crushed when they do the second base even with as low as a 2 fleet commonality. Remember airlines like Southwest, JetBlue, WestJet, Ryanair etc. wouldn't be around if opening a new base meant a 10% boost in labor costs overnight, and they survive on thru flights referring back to point 1.

I feel these two suggestions would really level out the playing field and give guys who don't have international powerhouse hubs to feed from a chance to fight as they do in the real market.
