At todays general assembly the CEO of Saudade, DHBBerlin, reported to its shareholders about the ongoing and upcoming major fleet renewal program. Whilst the first of the ordered 110 new Boeing 737-300 aircraft are already entering service in exchange for its existing fleet of 737-200s and 727-200Adv the airline is happy to exchange its existing fleet of DC-8-73 and Boeing 757-200 as of 1992 with 56 new Boeing 767-300ER.

The Boeing 737-300 are equipped with a convenient seating for 120 passengers in economy class and 5 passengers in business class. On board of the new Boeing 767-300ER up to 4 passengers in first, 12 passengers in business and 212 passengers in economy class will be enjoying an unexperienced comfortable way to travel to their destinations within the nonstop-range of the aircraft of up to 6.240 nm.

"The Boeing 767-300ER is a very fitting aircraft for the long-haul network of Saudade since its size fits better than other, bigger planes for our local market", DHBBerlin stated."The next step will be a subsequent replacement for our reliable Fokker 27-200s, we are already looking at future options for a comfortable, fast and cost-effective replacement", DHBBerlin closed.

Saudades goal will stay to operate only three different types of aircraft in the future and to carefully continue the future growth of its network in addition and partnership to the network of the Phoenix Alliance.
