Ghana Air System Established; Proudly bringing Ghana onto the Global Stage

This past month, the government of Ghana, in collaboration with an assortment of private investors, launched "Ghana Air System" as the nations latest national carrier. Aiming to fill in gaps in demand for transportation in Africa, the airline has shown a modest start, launching flights to London in March with a used Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation, and recently Lagos with a Saab Scania. The airline sector is notoriously volatile, particularly in Africa, where established demand is not has high. However, the leadership of Ghana Air System seem to be more than willing to face this challenge head on.
