We at FlightClub were inspired by our colleagues at Bleu Steel, who recently announced their #1 status in Canada. So, in the same spirit, we checked the rankings and are equally proud to announce our own achievement: FlightClub is officially the #6 airline in West Germany. Out of six.

While others chase glory at the top, we embrace the noble art of finishing last and leading from the bottom. Someone has to hold down the rear, and we do it with unmatched style — flying planes so small they barely register on radar, with a company-wide cabin crew headcount of exactly zero. That's right: at FlightClub, if you want a drink or a safety briefing, you'd better provide it yourself. And that lean-ness brings us flexibility. While larger airlines suffer cash flow problems from their large orders of shiny new jets, FlightClub enjoys the stability of having exactly none. Just two-seaters, cheap fuel, and the occasional parachute.

Our rivals may boast of high scores, big planes, or so-called "reliable service." But do they offer every passenger a guaranteed window seat? Do they provide the adrenaline rush of wondering if today's runway will be paved, grass, or just "somewhere flat"? We think not. FlightClub is not here to win. FlightClub is here to exist in all our glory, stubbornness, and last place status.  Because in West German aviation, there can only be one #6. And it's us.
