BURBANK, CA – January 03, 2010 – Adam Air, a rising star in the US aviation market, today announced the launch of "Adam Connect," a new regional service dedicated to linking smaller communities to the national air transportation system. This initiative, made possible through a strategic partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation, will operate under the federally subsidized Essential Air Service (EAS) program, ensuring vital connectivity for airports that would otherwise be unprofitable to serve.

Adam Connect will deploy a dedicated fleet of brand new Embraer ERJ-135 regional jets, which are ideally sized for these markets. The new service aims to provide reliable, safe, and convenient flights, bridging the gap between smaller towns and Adam Air's larger domestic and international network.

"Today marks a significant commitment from our airline to the foundational principle that connectivity should not be a luxury reserved for major metropolitan areas," said Humad Adam, CEO of Adam Air, during the announcement. "With Adam Connect, we are not just launching a new service; we are building lifelines. We understand that for many smaller communities, a flight to a major hub is an essential link for business, healthcare, and family."

The EAS program provides federal subsidies to airlines to serve designated communities that would otherwise lack scheduled air service. Adam Air's participation underscores a commitment to public service and a recognition of the critical role aviation plays in the economic health of the entire nation.

"This venture would not be possible without the foresight of the Essential Air Service program," Mr. Adam continued. "This partnership allows us to serve routes that the market alone cannot sustain, ensuring that dozens of communities remain part of the national fabric. We are proud to step up and be the carrier that provides this crucial service, and we thank the Department of Transportation for their confidence in our operational excellence. Adam Connect is about people, not just profits, and we are eager to welcome these communities aboard."

The first Adam Connect flights are expected to begin in less than 2 months, with routes and schedules to and from Burbank & Detroit following final regulatory approval. The aircraft will feature the distinct "Adam Connect" livery, a regional variation of the mainline Adam Air branding.
