Dear customers,

As announced almost 2 years ago we now proudly present you our all new cabin coming in our first Vickers VC10 in Q4 1964. The cabin will feature 3 First Class seats, 1 single seat and a double seat ideal for couples.
Next you find 10 Business Class seats in a 2-2 configuration. Both Business Class and First Class have their own galley and lavatory. The highlight of our new flagship will be a lounge/bar area for up to 6 First and Business Class guests.

Right behind the bar you find the economy entrance and the Economy Class with 108 seats in a 3-3 configuration. The Economy Class is seperated in 2 cabins to prevent loud noise to enter the other cabin.
The Economy Class features 2 lavatories and a Galley in the back, as well as 1 lavatory at the Economy entrance.

After almost 13 years in service the last Martin 4-0-4 will leave our fleet until October 1963 and won't be flying until 1967 as planned originally. Currently only 9 remain operational at Madrid, while we already retired the last units in Valencia and Barcelona.
At peak we had 126 Martin 4-0-4s in our fleet and it was our workhourse for over a decade, however the time has come and so we need to say goodbye. In the last months we got 42 used Lockheed L1049C Super Connies to replace our Martins in Barcelona and Valcenia.
The new Super Connies allow a massive capacity boost on our routes and our regional configured Connies feature a 5 seats big Business Class, while we had no Business Class in stalled in our Martins, this allows customers to choose from a bigger portfolio of offers.

While the last Martins will leave us in the next months we are also planning the arrival of our first Vickers VC10. Currently we plan that the first flights will be Madrid - Port Of Spain and Madrid - Caracas.
With the arrival of more and more Vickers VC10 we also plan to introduce longhaul operations from Barcelona.

In the meantime we will return our Lockheed L1049Gs to their lessors as they are no longer needed for our longhaul operations.
Currently they need tech-stops to almost every of our longhaul destinations, so replacing them with modern jets is the best option to remain competitive.
