A new airline in Canada is promising travel between the two biggest Canadian cities in under 3 hours! A recent study says the risks of flying far outweigh the risks incurred by driving the 10 hours required in a Buick Special, despite critics from conservative newspapers.
There is a plan to build a highway between the two cities but for the moment, busses and automobiles must use the current infrastructure linking towns to towns. Train travel is about 12 hours and the industry is trying hard to catch up to the faster air travel. However, most travellers prefer trains over aeroplanes because of safety concerns.
Will this new fad be a flop?
