It´s called 7-day scheduling. You create a week flightplan for one aircraft and then change the flight days for the six others accordingly. It means an optimal usage of your planes/routes where weekly A-check doesn´t mean you have to cancel that route for the day.
Please make a forum search to find further information. This technique was developed by players, not intended by system, that´s why all flights get their own flight number.

An example of this is where you might have a flight that is 20-22 hours long including turn around time at the B end
Impossible to get an A check into that gap so you have to go to a 6 day flight week with the 1234567 schedule format...maybe a loss of pax numbers on all flight days as a result of not offering a 7 day service......but if you have separate flight numbers you can move Tuesdays flight forward, Wednesday flight gets moved forward more, etc...and eventually you can fit the 7th flight in plus your A check

An example
17:05:00   90   14:15:00   90   1______   Atlanta - Hartsfield-Jackson
15:45:00   90   12:55:00   90   _2_____   Atlanta - Hartsfield-Jackson
14:25:00   90   11:35:00   90   __3____   Atlanta - Hartsfield-Jackson

Another reason for the separate schedules is that one of the two (or both) airports may be slot restricted so Tuesday does not have the slot the player needs, so by doing separate days he can add the missing day when a slot becomes available.

However from the example you posted there is no immediate advantage, but there may be an advantage when the player changes routes to a new model plane that he is pre-planning for
A to B
1------    2250    0230*    B721
--3----    2250    0230*    B721
---4---    2250    0230*    B721
----5--    2250    0230*    B721
------7    2250    0230*    B721

I myself was intrigued by this 7-day scheduling, I will have to investigate more about it. I will do search in the forums, but if I have any questions I will ask here.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, you will find that most players are willing to help.

I've used 7-day plans for LH and to slide into the holes of a slot restricted airport.

I've thought the work for everything being 7-day was largely a waste as the incremental utilization benefit was too small for the significant work involved (iow, one's time is better spent on other strategic issues).

However, I had not thought of the usefulness for aircraft transition - possibly a clever way to navigate the re-scheduling problem.   ;D

How might that be an advantage for changing to jets from props?
