Route Specialist

Would it be possible for us to recruit a route specialist, who would be able to give us a suggestion on a route to consider for that month?

The route specialist would know what our selected planes are, all the routes available from our hub airport(s), all the routes with demand but not enough supply, and then give us a report saying.

"My analysis of the route New York Idlewild to Miami suggests there is more demand than supply.
These passengers would be willing to pay up to $62 for a regular service between the airports.
This route is serviceable with the DC6-B in your fleet.

If there's no viable routes suitable, then the route specialist would tell you "All routes have suitable supply against demand. You may want to branch out to a new hub airport".

Not everyone knows every route available, and to have this little bit of help would help especially when you start an airline. Having this help once a game month would be great.

Route, fleet and resource planning and considering competing actions are the main tasks of a CEO in AirwaySim.There should be some field of action where you can´t turn on the automatic player.
Since clicking, noticing and counting is no action reserved for specialists even a newbie should be capable of doing it.

+1, if those task are automated what kind of skill is required to play this game? + I bet it is something quite complex to code(to make it work properly).

I agree with this request (partly)...

It'd be nice to have an "employee" to show me which routes are oversupplied, and which ones are not... You don't have to be einstein to search one by one all the available routes; you just have to click and click and open multiple tabs over and over again. which is no fun, nor denotes intelligence on the player... just repetitive actions which is in no way a CEO job...

Opening all the possible routes over and over again, to check if it's oversupplied, if it's not, or which one has more demand/offer than the other, does not requires any skill...  just a great deal of time, and and incredible patience to not get bored over repetitive chores...

I do not. Make it even less attractive. Learn to play the game.

Just because you know how to play the game, doesn't mean you don't have to click on 100+ airports to check on supply and demand. How many people have decided not to keep going because to find just one route available involves clicking a hundred airports, or "knowing" which airport routes serve well at a given time?

Clicking 100+ airports at a time is not fun, it's grinding. If you can think of another way to make the game fun, then happy to hear your suggestions, but to say "learn to play the game" is counter-productive.

Airports still are listed according their traffic ranking (although without graphs) if you start your search in route planning.
