Sorry - very new to this.  Not sure if I am asking in the right place.  Where can I find information about flying to international airports?  Why for example if my base airport is Spokane, there is no demand for any Canadian routes?  For decades Spokane has had international flights to Canada - but it would appear that it is not allowed here in AWS world?

On each airport's main page, you've got charts with destination & market share. Destination tells you what kind of airport it is. In Detroit, you've got 92% domestic, 5% international(aka under 2500NM), and 3% long haul(above 2500NM).

Some airports as Tahiti are really long-range oriented - 56% intenational long-range, which is rather accurate. Most smaller US airports are 100% domestic, or nearly, with a few big international hubs(LAX, JFK, SFO.....). Spokane has 100% domestinc demand shown in the chart. So don't even look for destinations in Canada - they are not implemented. The new demand system that is in the works since a few years now mught correct this(or not, we are not sure) when it's done, but for now, look for the USA only.

Is it true that it seems like load factor increase rate when a new line os opened climb faster when the line is competing with other airlines, contrasting to opening a new market?
