At the moment it's impossible to cut the wages of staff as they will constantly request raise and go into strike if not granted raise to the level they request.

I think it should be possible to pay less than they demand.

New feature: wage negotiations:

Screen where requested wages are shown and then the player can propose lower wages. If staff morale is high enough and the offer is not too much below the request staff should (after random effect) accept lower salary then they asked. This should lower morale only little and affect even less for company image. If the offer is not affected it should lower morale. If company is doing well or bad could also affect negotiations.

If an airline is about to bankrupt there should be negotiations where player could cut the salaries or sack the staff with smaller effect on morale and image (and the staff wouldn't request pay raise until after 6 months)

Also cutting excessive staff (>150%) should have smaller image to morale/image.

You give into there demands that easy....?

I usually let them suffer till the last moment (morale = 80ish) I then give them a small raise. morale goes back to 100. Wait till it drops(b/c i dont give them the full raise) then raise it again. Only when Im busy and dont have time to toy with them do they get a full raise. I haven't fully tested just how far I can push them but... so far so good.

I also like to fire a few of em when they get over 103-104%. Auto staffing @ 105% is a waste of an extra 1-1.5m a month (for my company at least) so Its better for me to manage it myself.

Truly, if you want to run an efficient, streamline company, dont use auto. Do it your self and save a few million a month.
