staff training very high

hi all, I now have about 10 aircraft on some 4 different fleets. My staff training costs are now more than my salaries!

Do staff training costs come down over time, since new types are assimilated?

I know fleet commonality reduces staff training and maintenance, but is by a large amount or not really?

Any help on getting staff training costs under control be much appreciated!

No, staff training is ongoing and more or less fixed.  Four fleetgroups in 10 planes will kill you off very quick in a full game, and probably Beginner's World too...

Your best bet is to terminate leases on your least common/lowest priced group, and try to fly one of the other types in place.  This may still cost you a stack in the short term though, so realisticlly you may be looking to bankrupt one way or other
