How about a bit of a break and do 2/3 month easy game after all the...

new implements and such, which are great!!! Just would like a break and an easy game that doesn't need to be watched more than once a day. Just food for thought.  ;) P.S. Still having fun, just suggesting we lighten up the pace for a small while.

The games don't get much easier than this.

They're rated Easy/Medium.  Or were, for some reason they got bumped to straight Medium though I haven't a clue why.

Regardless, they're definitely the easiest games we've had in AWS since I've been here.  I not only don't check my games "more than once a day", I usually only touch them every few days.  With the advent of the delayed aircraft delivery in particular, there's really no reason to.

We haven't had a game remotely close to "Hard" since the North American Challenge, and that was only hard in the very beginning when fuel prices skyrocketed practically overnight while few people had cash reserves yet to handle it.  And that game started last July almost a full year ago.

Well then, how about at least going shorter at least. 2/3 months would be a good amount of time to add something new and different yet not take so long to finish. Keep it new, keep it fresh every once in a while. Maybe something like having the 2 usual longer games and keep rotating a 3rd short game.

Actually, I didn't mean to imply so much about the difficulty of the game, just having 1 out of 3 that takes 1/2 the time to finish. I do agree with some players that the long games, while very fun, get stale as well. sami..how about a shorter length game next time around? What about the regional travel scenario that had been talked about awhile back? Setting it around  1965-1978 era while we still had Hughes Airwest, Dan-Air, Ljinflyg, and so on? Those were the big years for regional carriers. (And yes some of them flew a international routes, Hughes Airwest notably to Mexico and Canada). Anyway, just my two cents and I'm not complaining, its just something I'd like to see happen. ;D

You won't get any argument from me there.  I've been a long proponent of the shorter games until such a time as there are more dynamic world events and such that can keep things interesting.

The last short game we had, the Early Days beta scenario, was great.  And not just because I whooped butt at it either. ;)

Agreed Sigma. The current ones are beginning to "smell" ;D. I would love to see some shorter games more often and some easing up on the hub business. I say 10 planes instead of 15 to open a new hub on a shorter game (if the game is going to be shorter, downsize the requirements accordingly). I would not be opposed to going back to A-B-C-B-A again either every once in awhile too.
