Now that soon we can start out with more than one base...

does that mean the number of aircraft we start with will go up? I should hope so. One to start up each base immediately, and then order the second one at each base to be delivered two weeks later. I also think the beginning cash should go up a tad. Just my two cents. :) (no pun intended )

cash will be the same and so will be the used aircraft market.  New aircrafts will slower than before :(, so its gonna be very very intresting.

Has the used market been changed to random times?  I thought initial loans were allowed too, so we can invest more at the start :)

So this scenario is basically going to make it harder on everyone yet it hasn't even been tried yet. Thats what I'm hearing here. Not a good way to try something new in my book. Then again, wait and see, I guess. :-\

There is  beta -game going on, so don't say it hasn't been tested.

In my opinion v.1.2 is a lot better than the earlier version. Sure it's going to be more difficult/challenging, but also more rewarding to the player.  ;)

Jps

The worst thing would be if the bigger airlines took over all the major airprots in the world, thus leaving others quite a few routes left.
Since each airline is allowed at least 3 bases, that would mean that just the top 20 would rule/compete on the major 60 airports.

Of course, it most likely won't be that bad, since not every big airline will go for a big 2nd base, but it will still add lots of competition on the biggest routes.

In the beta your'e not allowed to base more than 70 aircrafts to the second base... And honestly I don't believe that there will be any bigger airlines in 1.2 than we've already seen in 1.11  ::)

I think 70 planes are usually far away from overflowing for most of the big airports. I think this is the time for big airlines to co-operate with smaller airlines, make a division of labor in your base is a good things now. You cannot take away all the demands, have a partner there at lease can make sure those demand will not fall into your enemy's hand ;)

I thought that an airplane limit had not been coded in Sami  :). The market (excluding slot issues that arise) should dictate how many planes can be based at a hub.
