The latest AirwaySim scenario, The Jet Age #5, has just started and is open for all airline managers. This starts in late 1950s where large piston-driver props still rule the skies but new jets are soon to take over the world and the Iron Curtain still divides the world. This game world runs for about 5 months with the standard 35 minute per day pace.

All of the regular v.1.3 features are available, including the updated used aircraft market feature and added with Lockheed Constellation aircraft models that have not been previously available. Please remember that you are only allowed to open additional base airports at your own country since intra-EU openskies is not available in the 1960s. Keep in mind also that the general air traffic level (number of passengers) is low, corresponding the era of the simulation. Used aircraft selections may also be somewhat limited, apart from the war-built DC-3s, so managers looking to expand should look into new aircraft production lines.
