Well, I finally managed to get this achievement.

Even with the freakish amounts of demand GW3 currently has (or used to have before the recession), it was exceedingly difficult. I have bases in LAX, JFK, MIA and IAH and I still had to run dozens of 737-700ER from LAX to thin long haul destinations (most of which I would have had to seat block with the lower demand of previous game worlds). I used a bit of seat blocking to get to 500, but not a lot.

The level 3 CEO payment will probably be genuinely impossible, unless a gameworld runs past 2050.

Think the achievements could use some variety to make them interesting. Build a 250+ plane airline without any large/v. large planes. Build a 250+ plane airline in Africa. In Oceania. In South America. etc. Operate a fleet of 100+ (or 30+ for small, or whatever) of a particular plane, with one achievement for each fleet. Stuff like that, so those who want to get achievements get encouraged to play different airlines, in different airports. As they are now, it's not really that interesting.

I really like this idea, having players try out different strategies in different places will mix up the game world a bit, instead of having the big players in the same bases over and over again....
