Cancellation Attack

Any idea why my aircraft at 99% condition, will have flight cancellations of

15.4% (8.3% +85.5%)

Technical problem   100 %

This does not add up. My airline is getting hit with cancellations due to supposed "lack of staff" and "technical problems" despite being in excellent condition and having extra staff. Sami, what is going on?

[EDIT]
Boeing 767-200ER
Cond: 99%
Age: 4.89y
Seat config: Y192, C18, F0
Nominal still-air range: 6700 NM

Just referring to the percentages of cancellations / delays means really nothing. How many minutes they actually are?

And also, is the company fully staffed, and is staff at 100% morale? And is this game in the 11/09/2001 aftermath?

They "Lack of Staff" and "Technical Issue" is now over, thank goodness. Now, despite a most recent super aggressive expansion, my cancellations are down to 0.7% with an overall delay percentage of 93 and weather being the main culprit of delays. This is how it was back in the day bc I always made sure to keep my turnaround delay probability to 1% but a few game years ago, it's as though implementing 1% turnarounds + fully staff + 100 morale + bran new (sub-3 year old aircraft) had little positive impact.

The only issue I have now is that, despite 100 Staff Morale, 100% Route Image, 70% Company Image, near non-existent delays/cancellations (as mentioned above), sub-1 year old a/c and seat configurations which match the pax demand, I have aircraft/routes which are getting an overall 70% LF but I think I may know why;

When I look into the Route Planning of any of these route pairs, when we refresh the page, the overall pax demand fluctuates, which has been a day one feature of the sim. I just completely forgot what it meant. Sami or a fellow user, can you remind me of why this happens please? It sort of reflects in the "» Click to hide expanded statistics" section, however I want to find ways to raise it. I selected premium seating (Bus 8, Eco 160) for my A310's which I placed on low demand LH routes (I know the risks as future suel spikes are coming  :,( ) but even then, I can get Fridays which do not fill the a/c to the max.

I will continue to monitor and play around with the pricing to find a good result but can someone remind me as to what the fluctuations in passenger demand means again please? Thanks in advance and thanks for your response Sami.

Yup, fully staffed with happy people  ;D
No at the time, it was the year 1990 I think. Maybe just before or after. 100 Morale always unless I need to lower wages or cut staff (v rare) but I just bribe them a month later with bonuses to accelerate their morale after doing so. Issue is no longer a thing now. Thanks for your response and sorry for the late reply. I only checked the forum now as I have limited time to spend on the sim so I just manage for 5-10 minutes and skiddadle.

the passenger number on the route planning fluctuates as that's what happens in real life, eg LHR-CDG isn't 12,500 day in day out. Big event, extra thousand people. Crap weather, 2000 people less etc. So there's no real way for us mere mortal CEOs to get a definite pax number. Cargo though, that's hard and fast. It will go up and down with time, and is asymmetrical inbound/outbound, but is predictable.
