[-] Used Market Sort/Filter for Engine Type
« on: March 21, 2018, 04:50:51 AM »
G'day all,

Currently I find myself in a predicament browsing 747 and 757 in the UM and having to open every single entry in order to find an aircraft using the same engine family as mine.
We already have category filters for range, passenger capacity, fleet group and such. The keyword search have never seemed to work reliably for me either.

Perhaps upon picking a fleetgroup, a sub-option could open for a dropdown if the selected model has multiple engine types to pick between All or a specific type?

BTW, typing the engine name in search box works

Yes, use the text search (combined with a/c type filter) for that.

(trying to avoid adding too many filter boxes there)

Yeah I do use the search, sometimes it works and others it doesn't. Not entirely sure why. Works reliably on PC so maybe it's a mobile issue?

In any case, I agree. Less is more usually, provided the less gives enough.
