C and d checks

What's the best way to get through them without cancelled flights?  Do you guys have a plane in storage you pull out to replace or something else?  It seems hard to keep up on

C/D check downtimes are not counted as cancellations, so just let the planes be there, there's no harm. Apart from possible missed revenue. So if you have a small fleet it might be beneficial to swap the schedules for long D checks, but as your airline grows, it's not useful anymore.

Thanks,  my fleet is somewhat small right now and all the checks are in the same year.  I may just buy a plane and place it in storage until they are all complete
