 Looks great!
But few screenshots raised some questions...

1.) As the game starts, can you already lease any airplane (of course within the money you have), or do you have to wait for a player to buy a plane and then lease from him?

2.) About the game start, are there some planes that you can choose to start with or just money and you can either buy an expensive airplane or few cheaper ones and then decide where to start?

3.) Is the game supposed to be played with real airlines or totally with imaginary airlines or both?

4.) On the incomes, there were only Sold tickets and Sold airplanes. Does Leasing (if you give a plane to another company) include to the sold airplanes? And don't airlines have any other incomes than those two/three?
Like some propably have maintenance service, or they could sell food and drinks, or some other stuff. Are these (or some of those) somehow modelled in the game? Or could they be modelled into it? I quess some airlines could have some other incomes as well, but I can't think of any more.

Edit: About the question 4, there seems to be already some suggestions of that in Suggestions-forum.

The system auto-generates used planes to the market on every week. These are "computer generated aircraft brokers" and you can buy or lease used planes from them. Also if players sell planes you can buy their planes then.

Also if you sell your own plane and the price and condition are good, the computer brokers can also BUY your planes. Or naturally other players can buy them. And if nobody wants to buy it, you can scrap it for spares if it's an very old plane.

Or then buy or lease factory-new planes which take 3-6 months to get delivered.

No planes at the start automatically. As that would be silly - no startup airline is required to have X amount of Y model airplanes when they start  :D

You have money or loan (or both) and you can choose the planes you like and are the best for the operation you are planning. The amount of initial money is the same for all players for each particular game.

Due to trademark issues I think it is safer for us that real-world airline names are not used. So I will most likely implement a list of names of biggest airlines and thus disallow players to use them.

It's naturally the decision of each player that what kind of route network they will make. So if you want to try to build a similar route network that real airline X has, then nothing is stopping you.

At the moment players cannot lease planes to other players. As it becomes a problem if the lessor company goes bankcrupt - then all their planes and other assets are sold, and in such case what would happen to the plane that is in use by the other airline who has leased it?  This is naturally possible to code, but there are just these minor issues to think. Plus the current aircraft options seem to work fine so that feature is not on the to-do list at the moment.

The incomesheet is still missing some things like ground handling and good implementation of staff costs.

Yeah, catering can be income or expense. Depending how the airline does it  ;D   At the moment it's not yet modeled.

Same for ground handling and maintenance. At the start they will be only fixed costs, but in the future an idea might be that you can build your own maintenance bases or start ground handling companies and then sell the services to other airlines.

I think that is the best way  :thmbdn:
There is one other airline simulator on the web that I tried, and in it you had to choose your starting city and between two planes... Very bad that way as the earlier players had all routes covered with better planes. Although that game was odd on other ways too, as the gate costs could easily go up to half a million dollars, even if you had just one gate at two airports...

Yes, I was just thinking how real companies would feel if their names were used on a game like this... And I already have some ideas on what kind of business to run, and so far I have a self-made name for it  :D

That's true, never thought of that... And I quess it goes better in real life, as there airlines really think how to spend the money, instead of in a game where you know almost nothing of the player you could lease the plane...[/quote]

Here's one new - airline logos and liverys enabled (with my professional logo design)  ;D

Users can paint their own logos and liveries. For the aircraft paiting there is a ready-to-paint template in Photoshop and PaintShop Pro formats.

One more new feature for today, different weight variants are added now. Already an older feature, engine variants, is also visible here.

Meaning that you can order the planes with the desired engines and max.takeoff weight options to suit your operations, like in real life. Once you have bought the plane you can also retrofit the weight options (this is not yet added to the current game, but will be added later today).

This is a picture from the "New aircraft" info / ordering page.

That was already asked above in this thread - answer shortly: no. You can choose (buy / lease) the models you like - having airline to have certain planes at startup is not realistic at all.
