Not sure what you think, but:

RioSul - Rio de Janeiro (SBGL), ATB#2

RioSul was merged into Varig in 2003, which has been bought and bought again.  As far as I've read so far, Gol still owns the name, although they don't appear to have any thought of bringing it back.

Is allowed to name airline by some real-world alliance? Because we have Sky Team Airlines in BW..

ICEcoldair881

Singapur Airlines in SIN in BW, (I think you know which Airline i'm refering to in RL)

Dasha

Singapur is a completely different name than Singapore..

Really I think quite a few people have made it a complete manhunt to 'bad names'.
You can refer to any airline you want just not have the SAME name. Singapur Airlines is NOT a registered brand and should just be allowed. There is no reason not to accept it.
The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes, decide everything

What do you think about Rocky Mountain Airlines? It's my own airline in the game (Jet3), but I just found out when I googled, that there was an airline called Rocky Mountain Airways in 1970s-1980s, but the name dissapeared when the airline merged with Texas Air.

There's a big differance between Airlines and Airways  ;)

Budjet

There is no problem wiht using bankrupt or meged airlines as they no longer hold the copyrights for the name unless the name is still in the airlines current name etc.

Airtours is being used in ATB2 - even using their real world Livery - I know of the chap that owns that airline and he wont be happy bunny - unless of course its him running it!

Actually, I think you'll find that the administrators of a bankrupt airline or parent company of the merged airline still holds the copyright for the name. It doesn't just cease to exist.

It's same difference as f.e. EasyJet and EazyJet.. And that's forbidden.

For Jona L.:

Stop Snitchin' refers to a controversial campaign derived from an older commonly used slang expression of the same name and meaning. The campaign was launched in Baltimore, USA to persuade criminal informants to stop "snitching," or informing, to law enforcement. Some public officials and others say that it is a campaign used by criminals to frighten people with information from reporting their activities to the police.

It became mainstream in the hip hop community as many rappers express support for this method. It specifically refers to a Baltimore-based home-made DVD that threatened violence against would-be informants.

For both of you:

A joke is a short story or ironic depiction of a situation communicated with the intent of being humorous. These jokes will normally have a punchline that will end the sentence to make it humorous. A joke can also be a single phrase or statement that employs sarcasm.

Sarcasm is a form of humor that uses sharp, cutting remarks or language intended to mock, wound, or subject to contempt or ridicule.

So I suppose you failed at "sharp" and "cutting".
