PNQ, GOI, VTZ all have wide body international service in real life, but are missing.

Mistakes:
VELR is mistakenly listed as IXR. It is actually IXI. IXR is Ranchi (VERC), which is missing.

In addition, demand in India is far too low. For example, there are 60 flights today from BOM to DEL, including multiple widebody services. However, in GW3, demand is just 1400 pax per day.

playing in India for the first time in the current GW#1 I also noticed the huge amount of missing airports and the very low demand.
The game year is around 1970 so of course it may be even too high compared to the real demand at that time but when I check demand in GW #3 which is in 2016 currently then the demand is far too low - so demand simulation may need to take a steeper curve than in other countries.

It would be really great to make India a more attractive country to play! Especially missing an airport like Pune but having a game with little airports noone knows and where you can't schedule any reasonable flights to in countries like Switzerland is a severe asymmetry in the game.

How about Fort Worth, Meacham KFTW, not a major today, but was a major before Greater Southwest.
Demand might not be high, but I think it will help relieve some pressure on Love and DFW.

On the Canadian island of Haida Gwaii, British Columbia just south of Alaska I've flown there twice and it's served daily by an Air Canada mainline DHC-300 and twice in the summer when the tourists arrive.

Hello,

Being interested in both, aviation and development politics, I'm closely following aviation developments in central Africa. I've especially dealt with the countries of Angola, DR Congo and the Republic Congo.

I actually wanted to open my airline in one of those countries but I soon noticed that there are many airports missing.

Angola

There is only one airport in the game in Angola which is the capitals' one. The country has many more airports with paved runways which were already serviced by at least TAAG Angola Airlines in the 70s. After the end of civil war, these airports have been renewed and brought to international standards. Most of them are still daily serviced by TAAG (using B737s) or smaller private carriers (using EMB120 and EMB145).

I can provide lists of all the airports, but it is difficult to obtain exact traffic data. Estimations can be easily made, looking at the daily arriving planes.

DR Congo

There are 8 airports in the game in the DR Congo. Interestingly, some of them are only very small dirt strips (with no scheduled service) which could probably be removed from the game. On the contrary, airports like even the 2nd largest in the country, Lubumbashi Luano International Airport, offering daily services to Johannesburg, is missing. Also other airports of cities with more than 1.000.000 inhabitants are not included. Some of the airports have been built by the Belgians (before 1960 during colonial times) while some others have been built in the 70s using US development aid. Air Zaire served the airports in the 70s and 80s, nowadays they are flown to by carriers like CAA (A321), Congo Airways (A320 and DH4) and KinAvia (Let 410).

Once again I can provide lists of the airports with accurate data, but passenger numbers would again be estimations.

Republic of Congo

2 airports are in the game. A few more should be as they have recently been renewed and are served by Canadian Airways Congo and other small private airlines.



It would be nice to see some more African airports in the game, especially those of regional importance! I didn't want to spam this thread with endless information on various airports. First, I want to make sure that it is needed data which could be implemented. Secondly, I was wondering if just posting the information here is the best way of providing it? The could be a format to follow when adding "new" airports to the game so that all the data doesn't have to be re-structured all over.
