None of these airports really have any demand..... Plus you need to include city populations...

This is Sweden...not USA, there is only one metropolitan in this country, the rest is small towns. Skövde and all the other towns do have demands, why include Hemavan, Vilhemlina, Storuman and Pajala it you don't include these airports? That makes no sense.

Those airports have no more than 15 seats in demand and most you listed havew only like 2-5 people. You cant really make a profit off of that  ;)

Those aren't included probably because they are all closed in 2008, so no data was available I believe ... But I will see if these can be added.

Hello,

I find it strange that both Dhahran International Airport (which used to serves the Dammam metro area in eastern Saudi Arabia) and the airport that replaced it (Dammam - King Fahad International)  aren't in the game especially because its the third international airport behind Riyadh and Jeddah and handles a lot of traffic (specially DHA in the 90s)

Airport info:
Dhahran International Airport (post 1999: King Abdulaziz ilitary airbase)
IATA: DHA
ICAO: OEDR
http://worldaerodata.com/wad.cgi?id=SA82691

Dammam - King Fahad International
IATA: DMM
IACO:OEDF
http://worldaerodata.com/wad.cgi?id=SA78206

Thank you

Some info about the annual passenger figures (pax / year), and pax distribution (routes flown to) is needed. And also when the airports were opened for traffic etc.

Google is there for a reason  ;D. Pax distribution can basically be domestic, short-haul, long-haul (in percentage).

Usually, Sami adds it to a database, only when a new game starts the airport gets in.

Hi Sami,

Just wondering what you might need in order to add airports that have scheduled service (specifically from my home base in CYUL).  ;)

All the following have service by CJA - numbers are the capacity on the route on a daily basis.

Bagotville (CYBG) - 120
Baie Comeau (CYBC) - 40
Bathurst (CZBF) - 80 (Actually in game with much lower demand)
Ile de Madelaine (CYGR) - 40
Gaspe (CYGP) - 80 (Also already in game)
Mont Joli (CYYY) - 40
Sept Isles (CYZV) - 120
Wabush (CYWK) - 40
Val D'Or (CYVO) - 160

Thanks for letting me know.

J

New Aerodrome: King Shaka International Airport
« Reply #17 on: May 25, 2010, 07:23:31 AM »
I've just wiki on the topics related to South Africa and found the following:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Shaka_International_Airport
The King Shaka International Airport(FALE) has replaced the Durban International Airport(FADN)

The new airport has longer runway than the old one which allows bigger planes landing there(Indeed it is A380 ready). And I've checked there are some long hauls going to London, Paris, Singapore, Dubai, etc.

I hope this airport will appear in next game world  ;)

Edit: overlooked the departure schedule and FALE have international flights to Dubai, Mauritius and Maputo only  :-[

Well, there is no pax data on the airport yet.

There's no pax data for 99% of the airports in the game either.  So that doesn't really mean a whole lot.

If FALE replaced FADN, it's an easy change to just move whatever pax sami's got for FADN to FALE whenever the appropriate year is.
