I see airlines doing press releases with new routes, new acft etc...  does this help with any part of the game play or is it for a bit extra fun and realism?

I always like reading them, i think it adds great realism to the game, i'm just abit curious.   :)

I am based in Glasgow in EC and another airliner is in debts for the past 3 years, didn't order any planes etc. So I targeted his business and opened a route to London City airport for just 19 pounds one way. Yes... I don't make a profit on that route, but so doesn't he as all his pax slowley moves to me.

At the moment his company is 16 milion in red, and I expect the bank to terminate the business soon.
