wet lease

is there any functionality for a short term wet lease?
i would like to overhaul on A/c but the min i can rent a used a/c for is 1 year.

It would be a cool feature but to make it realistic, I think the cost of the wet lease would almost make the venture unprofitable? I'm not aware of any airline that does this in real life?

a few airlines will do it from time to time.
its expensive, and generally a loss maker, however its only used if you are stuck.
i.e. you have to perform a b/c check and either have no free A/c to take the load, or all other a/c are scheduled.

or if you want to try a route for a week, see how numbers stack up.
